Clear Aligners Process

Step 1

Book an appointment for consultation at V Cure Dental & Implant Centre. Thorough dental examination will be done. Photographs and X-rays will be taken for treatment planning.

Step 2

Digital Scanning. An intraoral scan is performed using a handheld scanner. The digital scan is sent to the aligner center for processing.

Step 4

Use of retainer for a year and guided discontinuation of the retainer to prevent relapse.

Step 3

Aligners Ready for Use. Within a few days, you will receive perfectly fitting aligner trays ready for use.

Is there any age limit?
There is no age limit for Aligner treatment. The patient should simply have a permanent dentition and healthy periodontium (gums and bone supporting the teeth).
How many hours should aligners be worn daily?
A minimum of 22 hours per day. They should be removed only while you are eating meals and brushing your teeth.
What is the duration of treatment?
Approximately 6 to 12 months for simple to moderate cases. More complex cases may take up more than a year depending on the required movement.
How often are follow-up visits required?
Once in every 3 to 6 months to ensure progress is tracking as planned, based on individual alignment needs, or towards the end of the treatment to check whether the desired alignment has been achieved.
